Goodbye AssignByWeb, hello Stayhealthy

The time has come for me to depart from AssignByWeb. While I leave the comfort and security of a job that I have invested so much in, I am moving on to bigger and better things. I'm thankful for what they have done for me, but the grass finally looks greener elsewhere and thanks to my good friend Tim, I have the chance I have been looking for for quite some time now. Next week is my last day, and nothing personal, but I hope it will be the last time I have to work for them. While there are plenty of negative things I could say, I won't. They have done plenty of good for me, and while there is a lot of history between us, it is finally coming to an end. I will not be burning any bridges since I'm too nice of a guy to do such a thing, almost, arguably, to a fault.

Now that I have a more suitable job I have made online resumes unsearchable. When I logged into Career Builder, I glanced over the list of jobs that they believe may be suitable. The first job listing was for a Web Designer in Houston, so I clicked on it to see what it was about. To my own amusement, I found that the listing reads almost word for word for a job opening I was contacted about back in June (my lament on job hunting frustrations). The page doesn't specifically state that the company you would be working for is Chevron, but it does state that the industry is Oil Refining - Petroleum - Drilling. A part of me wants to call the number on the listing to have a little fun, but I'm not that kind of guy. I knew back in June that the hiring manager was tossing great talent, but seeing this job listing gave me a certain level of satisfaction. I told people before that they were the ones who lost out, and the job listing still being open only confirms that.

Enter Stayhealthy, Inc. I couldn't be more excited about this job opportunity. Higher pay, benefits, bonus', company provided hardware and software, the flexibility of telecommuting, which I absolutely love, learning new technologies and having encouragement and time to learn more, not having to drive into Houston, I can continue to stay here in Spring, and working day in and day out with my friend Tim, who I have learned so much from, and will continue to do so. C#, here I come!

any bloated php mvc's to hack

any bloated php mvc's to hack there?

Sorry, but no

As it stands, we don't have any solid plans for PHP development. We have current projects that rely on PHP, but those may end up being converted to C# projects, but as it stands, nothing at this time.

Good luck AssignByWeb. Great
