Bearing down for Ike

Becky and I moved from New Orleans for several reasons. The biggest one by far was the fact that we couldn't afford to buy a home there since the prices shot up after Hurricane Katrina. Another was to move to an area less prone to hurricanes, and now here we ware facing a direct hit from Hurricane Ike. Can you sense the excitement and the thrill? I can't either.

The Lost Adventure

Yesterday evening Becky had an idea: let's take Sarah to Chuck E. Cheese! Not having any predetermined plans, and being in a good mood, I said sure, and while we're at it, let's bring her bestest friend in the whole widest world: Jennifer! And you know what? We did! So off we go to seek out Chuck E. Cheese, located in Conroe, TX. All is well, driving north on I-45, seeking the landmarks I verbally and mentally noted on Google Maps. We kept going, and going... and going. We eventually got to a point where I determined that we had gone too far. I took the next exit to circle around. Before going south on I-45, Becky read aloud: "Now leaving the city limits of Conroe." Joygasm, we went way too far.
