Software Developer, Media Nut, and Proud Father of Two

After months of media blitz, a year since a teaser was released, and dealing with the agonizing fact that the movie was already in the theater for its third week, I was able to see The Dark Knight at IMAX with my brother-in-law Al. If I hadn't spent so much on the ticket, I would be willing to see the movie a second time, but money's not exactly falling out of my pockets. When Al and I walked out of the theater, I was trying to find the right words and I started laughing, heartily proclaiming, "I'm speechless!" There are so many words to describe this movie, but suffice to say, you will not be disappointed. If you haven't seen it yet, then make plans to because you will be blown away. 10 out of 10, the movie was perfect and epic. If you haven't seen the movie yet, then read no further.

I typically discuss TV shows and movies on Neowin, but felt like sharing here as well. Last night was the season four finale of Lost and it was amazing! Some wild and crazy things happened, of which I won't delve into just in case you haven't seen it. Watching the show reminded me of just how great this show is, but also about how much junk there is out there. Sure, not all shows need to be serialized and have the most in-depth and intriguing story line, but that doesn't mean it should have half an effort either. The outlook is more grim when counting the number of bad movies that have been churning out. Hollywood has suddenly developed a fascination for picking up old franchises and making further sequels or by rebooting a franchise.
